At WSU, Dan was ultimately responsible for all annual giving and development services programs. Among his accomplishments there were designing and implementing a successful donor retention program, and adapting Web technology to serve the University’s development professionals in their contacts with donors.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University, graduating summa cum laude, and his Master of Science degree in Finance at Walsh College, where he distinguished himself with honors for academic excellence and for research writing. The College and the Financial Executives International (FEI) Detroit Chapter have recently recognized him with the FEI Academic Scholar award for 2008.
He is a past volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement, is a trustee of the Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence, and is a member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan. He lives with his family in Troy.
