Melanie de Vries


Richner & Richner and de Vries Marketing Consultants formally affiliated in 2011 to offer a more comprehensive suite of services to the clients of each firm.

Melanie has served as a senior business strategy leader and advisor for over 20 years, working with non-profit and professional services organizations on strategic business marketing and sales planning and execution. This includes developing business plans; marketing strategies; market research; branding and public relations initiatives; and sales, development, sponsorship, and funding programs.

Her background includes working on both the corporate and non-profit side in managing all elements of corporate giving and grant funding. She has developed numerous fundraising campaigns and donor retention and extension programs, including profiling donor bases and developing strategies to increase contributions. In addition, she has consulted with dozens of organizations on all elements of driving growth, on issues such as organizational branding and market positioning; capital and advancement campaign communications strategies; and sales, client and donor management software identification and implementation.

Melanie's experience includes working with non-profit organization in a wide range of industries, including leading organizations in public television and the media, education, health care and alternative energy. Her history also includes serving as Vice President of Marketing for Learning Care group (the world’s largest childcare provider) and as head of marketing for Deloitte Consulting, a $2 billion professional services organization.
